X431 PRO Series

The PRO series is the workhorse line of the Launch range: 10.1-inch bidirectional tablets that cover the daily reality of most independent workshops — full-system diagnostics, ECU coding, 37–50+ service functions and topology mapping on supported brands. It costs less than the PAD tier but runs on the same software base and delivers the same diagnostic depth.

The core models are the PRO5 with the Smartlink C connector, the PRO3S+ Elite and the PRO3 V+ 5.0 Elite; alongside them sit STD, HD3, IMMO and TSG variants that bundle hardware with the licence for a specific job. In practice, most buyers choose a PRO5 or PRO3S+ when they want broad diagnostics and online programming, and the PRO E when budget is tighter and the vehicle mix is narrower. If you also need commercial-vehicle diagnostics, take the HD3 variant now rather than adding a module later — buying the bundle first is cheaper.
