What it is for

The CReader Elite is the specialist answer to a common problem: a workshop that mostly sees one or two brands does not need a multi-brand platform, it needs the menus, the freeze-frame data and the service functions for the cars it actually repairs. The brand package here is the same software that would run on a larger LAUNCH tablet, cut down to one manufacturer.

That means faster navigation and a lower price, at the cost of breadth. If a second brand appears regularly, take the multi-brand version instead — two brand handsets cost more than one full platform.

Buying more than one
