What it is for

Add-on licences are how a single tablet becomes a truck tool, a locksmith tool or an ADAS platform: the hardware is common, the licence decides what it can reach. Buying the licence when you buy the instrument is cheaper and faster than adding it after the first customer asks for the job.

Licences are registered to a device serial number and a region. Send both with the order; a licence activated for the wrong region cannot simply be moved.
